3 more sample files are available on the downloads page. These were published on the Intacta Code website in the year 2000. I, unfortunately, lost the printouts of these, and the Wayback Machine, whilst archiving the pages, didn’t archive the images or files making the sample pages useless.
Whilst digging around an old hard drive, I discovered scans of the samples, which I believe were scanned in when I finally got a hold of Intacta Express (before stripping the hard coded name from the installer). From there, I was able to load the files off the recently discovered images and recreate the code with the original sender name (though, not the original licence number). It is, however, the closest to getting the original sample pages back.
The pages are available here:
Sample Page 1 – Intacta Code website (Color Scan & Fax or Intacta Express)
Sample Page 2 – Intacta Code website (Color Scan & Fax or Intacta Express)
Sample Page 3 – Intacta Code website (Color Scan & Fax or Intacta Express)
Just like back in 2000, you can print these pages off, and use either Intacta Express decoder, or Color Scan & Fax Read to extract the files.
Fun fact, the MIDI rendition of Für Elise in Sample 1 and 3 is the same version that was featured on Tomorrow’s World on 17th May 2000.
